Website Ownership & binding terms

This website is owned and operated by Lauren Pellow. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use my website and services as offered by me. This website offers visitors antenatal and postnatal courses. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of website

In order to use my website and/or receive my services, you must be at least 16 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

Commercial Terms

The prices charged for using my services are listed on the website. I reserve the right to change my prices for services offered at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing is available on the payments page.

 

Refund & Cancellation policy

For any classes owed, class credit will be offered. Refunds cannot be guaranteed and are offered at my discretion. I am under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. I regret that I am unable to guarantee alternative classes for missed lessons.

 If during your course booking you are unable to attend, I can offer a online 1:1 make up class but this will be at an extra  charge. 

If cancelling a booking please leave no later than 24hrs notice, to notify me. If cancelling due to illness please give as much notice as possible. One class credit may be given per term for a following term but this is given at my discretion. 

I will endeavour to ensure your scheduled class always runs. However from time to time unforeseen circumstances may prevent this. I will make contact with you ASAP if a class is cancelled either via phone, text or email. Please ensure you always check these before leaving for class.

If I have deemed the weather fit to travel and still run classes but you make the personal decision to not attend, no refund will be given. 

In the case of bad weather meaning the class is cancelled you will be notified immediately.

Class credits will be offered where possible in this situation. 

 

COVID-19 Guidance - In the case that the government authorise a local lockdown due to COVID-19, all classes and future bookings will immediately be transferred to online courses.

Should myself and family need to isolate due to advice regarding COVID-19, I will with best efforts offer alternatives dates for those cancelled and failing that can offer online alternative or class credit for a future term.

Retention of right to change services

I may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services I offer; or create limits for the services. I may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

Exclusion of liability

In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by myself, I, the participation of you, your partner, your baby or those in whose care you have placed the child for the purpose of attending the class, is done so entirely at yours and theirs own risk.

Change of times & venues

If the class time or venue need to be amended i will endeavour to provide you with 7 days notice. The start time can be altered by less than 30minutes and or the venue is located within a mile radius of the original planned location. No refunds will be offered.

Valuables & jewellery

All property bought to class is left at your own risk. I accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions before, during or after class.

Video & photography

There is a no photography policy in class to protect the privacy of the class participants. Unless you gain permission from your class teacher and have written consent from all participants photographed in the class. Such images should not be shared on social media or internet sites unless you have written permission from your teacher and other mums that feature in the photographs. 

Health & Safety

It is important to notify your teacher of any medical conditions any participants may have attending classes. All information is treated in confidentiality. 

I ask parents to not attend class if they, their baby are suffering from:

COVID-19 symptoms

Fever

Diarrhoea or vomiting within the last 48hrs

Symptoms of:

chickenpox

measles

norovirus

If I have received notice of illness 24hrs before class starts i may be able to offer class credit. I can only issue one class credit per term and this is subject to availability.

If unsure please contact me before class so I can advise. Its your responsibility to keep me updated with new medical conditions.

While attending your class please keep noise to a minimum and please do not enter the room whilst the current class is still in progress. Please wait to be invited in. 

Please ensure your personal belongings are stored safely at the sides of the room so they are not a trip hazard. Please put your phone on silent for the duration of the class.

Ownership of intellectual property, copyright and logos

The Service and all materials therein or transferred thereby, including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all Intellectual Property Rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of Lauren Pellow. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.

Right to refuse service

I have the right to refuse service or entry on to a class at my own discretion. I do not accept verbal or physical abuse in any form and have the right to remove an individual from a class should I deem it necessary. 

Right to change or modify terms

I reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When I change the Terms in a material manner, I will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

Promotional emails & content

You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from me, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify me at any time.

**Terms and Conditions for Online Courses**

1. **Enrollment:**

-once an online course is purchased, there is no a no refund policy and no cancellation policy.

7. **Technical Requirements:**

- Users are responsible for ensuring their devices meet the minimum technical requirements for accessing the online courses.

- The course provider is not responsible for technical issues on the user's end.

 

8. **Privacy Policy:**

- User data is collected and processed in accordance with the privacy policy, which can be reviewed separately on the website.

- The course provider does not guarantee employment or specific outcomes as a result of completing the courses.

- Content and materials may be subject to change without prior notice.

By enrolling in our online courses, users agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The course provider reserves the right to update these terms periodically, and users are encouraged to review them regularly.

    Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

    All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by the service providers.
